A Joyous Diwali

For the very first time, a.d. attended a Deepavali invitation. He had lotsa cookies & specially prepared Ribena, and the Deepavali angpow too! Hehehehee ... tak tau pon org celebrate Deepavali ada angpow. Thank you Aunt Rebecca, for having us around.
Later, he visited Mak Long Ila at HTAR. It has been a week since he last see his Mak Long in a pool of blood. Blood? Yup, Mak Long had a terrible car accident last Sunday. Mak Long Ila, cecepat baik eh! Nanti buleh bawak a.d. round2 taman dgn car lg .... That is, if Mak Long doesn't loses her guts to drive again. Huhuhhuuuu ....
Before the day ended, a.d. went grocery shopping with daddy & mommy. Nanti nak invite Aunt Rebecca plak datang umah, tak gitu?

A sorrowful Aidilfitri

A.d. lost his great grandmother (that is, mommy's bestest granny) on Sunday, 7 Oct 2007/25 Ramadan 1428. She had been wonderfully fit for 84 yrs of her life until sent to the ccu of kajang hosp. on 4 oct.
It is still quite a painful loss to me since i personally didn't have the chance of taking care of her during her stay at kpmc since weeks ago like the rest of my cousins. How i wished i could be there when she told all about her life, her marriage, her children ... Nenek mmg suka bercerita ttg kisah hidupnya kpd cucu2nya & kami tak pernah berasa bosan mendengar cerita nenek, sebab nenek tak pernah ulang cerita dia.
Since dad left mom on the day I was born, abah & nenek were my idols. Dgn neneklah kami belajar ngaji comprehensively & khatam. Dgn nenek jugak kami makan lempeng kulit kaki cicah gula, plus kopi panas time hujan menghentam bumbung zink umah nenek. Nenek had to nurture 12 kids of hers with many more cows behind the house, but I never hear her complaint. She successfully kept the house tiptop!
I know i'd miss those days when she put bedak sejuk on my face & took me to ceramah sessions at the surau near the kajang mosque & WALKED from home (that's like from ou to ikea) under the scorching sunlite. How she taught me to do embroideries (pakai tgn you!), her loving, firm yet soft touch of massage during my confinement days and shen went "alah kak long ... takde salahnya makan ais krim masa pantang ni ... yg dipantangkan ais batu. sikit2 buat ubat takde salahnya ..." god, how i wished to see her smile when she sees a.d. running tru the door towards her, and oh, by the way ... a.d. was scared of her nyan & I wonder why!
Meminjam kata-kata dewibiru, "Sesungguhnya sesebuah kehilangan itu amat perit sifatnya'. This coming Aidilfitri, we'll deeply miss to kiss her hand & eat her mee miskin. I'm gonna miss everything about her!
I've lost both of my paternal granny this year. Maybe this is the lailatul qadr that is meant for us. Kami redha dgn segala perjanjian yg telah dibuat oleh Allah Ta'ala.
To all of you, have a wonderful Aidilfitri, make it a good, memorable one spashly celebrating it with the ones you love dearly! Maaf zahir & batin, andai ada tersalah bicara. Halalkan makan minum kami sekeluarga. Do be cautious on the road.

If I were to be a millionare, i will do ALLLLLL of the below list (sori aa kengkawan, pinjam impian korang skali!) .... with one addition that I suppose no one would have a dream on owning one!
Proposition: If you Have $1,000,000.00
What They Do With Their $1 Million ?
1. SYH will spend for Family.
2. Miche will give to the needy.
3. Montessorimum will keepsake.
4. Mumsgather will secure her kids’ financial future.
5. bkworm will be debt free.
6. Dancing Queen will go on a lifelong holiday.
7. Eve will invest in properties.
8. dieselfire will create a foundation for underprivileged students.
9. Underneath The Stars will put aside for kids education.
10. AmiraZefr will invest in her kids trust fund and set aside for some TLC holiday trips.
11. Erna will perform Hajj and round the world with my beloved family

Lumut ... here we come!!

|
A.d. had a blast weekend with daddy's family in Lumut. On Saturday, we waited for the rest of d family members at the Lumut Jetty (they spent their weekdays in Pangkor without a.d. due to mommy's tight workload .. huhhuhuuu ) From there, we checked in at Marina Cove Resort.
That nite, we went for ikan bakaq behind d hotel to celebrate mbah's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MBAH. Our love for you will never end!
The next day .... tereng tereng tereng .... a.d. went swimming ... as usual ... hahahha ... mcm reti swim pun! One thing about a.d., dia tersangatlah takotnye dgn itu ombak, so we went to d chilling pool instead.
Balik D'sara, a.d. pun demam ... balik berjalan tak pernahnya tak demam. Apapun, thanx to mbah & mak long for the lovely trip!

A.d. was down with a very high fever last weekend, siap meracau2 lagi.  To get rid of the monsterous fever, daddy & mommy took a.d. to abg eez's fabulous party, sin wau alif, ha ya ba wau ha & pc fair! pc fair? mmg daddy & mommy a.d. ni gilosss... Penat wooo mengarry budak ni, sbb dia meleding2 mcm ikan mintak diturunkan sebab dia nak capai cartridge kaler2 kat display. 
Later of da day, a.d. went well again ... huhuhuhuh!!!! Bolehla celebrate birthday daddy ... yeaaahhhaaa!!!  It wasn't a fancy celebration tho, but our angel had a blast of his time. Biasalah dia ni .. battery lmbt abis. Anyway, daddy Daniel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY & we both love you endlessly!

ad.ryll. /aedrel/ noun (alif dal ro' ya lam) a comemmoration
da.ni.al /danyal/ noun (dal nun ya alif lam) salah saorang sahabat Nabi junjungan kita.
at first, a.d. was called 'the accident baby' if anyone knows the meaning. we weren't prepared with any names, a boy? a girl? we didn't know the gender of my biggie until he popped up, seriously ... even the not-so-friendly- doctors-to-be had no guts to answer my what's-my-baby question. i told dear hubby to look for a boy's name and he did come up with a list. i like 'alkyf' the most (& i still do!) but, he failed to search for the meaning.
on the second nite i went into the high defiency unit (after a lonnnggggggg labour), hubs decided to name our angel adriel with a bit change of spelling, plus to bring daddy's name at the back. i realise then how our bundle of joy really brings joy & laughter to me, to hubs, to us!
to a.d., sorry to the max for calling you 'the accident baby'. we just felt that it was too soon to have one, not knowing that a child really brings hope, life & meaning to both mommy & daddy. sesungguhnya kekuasaan Allah mengatasi segala apa yg ada. as mere human beings, both of us tend to be selfish & lupa diri.you stepped into our lives as a comemmoration & we both love u beyond infinity!!!

susahnyer la nak kejutkan a.d. on that morning! the gathering was really a good one for a.d. enuff said, mommy's boy had a splendid time in putrajaya with all his new frenzzzz .... hardy, jannah, arif, kak damia, mirza, aqidd, najeeb, adam, irdina, nurin, abg farhan, emily, aaqil & trisya.  to madihah & indah .. nnt kita jupa pulak yer ... haa tengokla ketereran a.d. ngaco anak dara org! 
again, kak surya .. thank you sooo much for saving a.d. from wondering around ALONE!!! sesungguhnya anak ku ini mmg amat gemar berjalan ... tidak kira walau di mana jua .. sensorang lg dia menjadik!
to hirda, iena, zam, lieya, eja, mimi, sab, asma', kak surya, kak mimi, nana & ikka ... nice knowing u'ol (altho mommy sgt2lah x smptnya nak beramah mesra dgn org lain). sue & yana ... ada rejeki, kita jumpa yer ... tunggu ....

unlike other babies, a.d. had a fun time main ujan after the gathering. reached home, tido 2 hrs & started playing again .... smp mommy & daddy lentok dulu ... huhuhuhuhuuu ... lmbtnyer bateri dia nak abisss ...

similar to you, it is so soon at that time for us to be called parents, plus i have to be back in UK to complete my study and hubby is not following me and working in Sarawak..lepas kawin 2 weeks fly back alone..sedih2 gitu, not realising afia is in the womb already
